The weekly rate includes the rent house, its private pool (sometime shared with the owner during the week end) , agency commission and taxes in accordance with Italian Law, bed linens, bath and pool towels, cold/hot water, electricity and final cleaning. The weekly rate does not include gas used for heating. Payment Details: Deposit 50% upon booking. The 50% outstanding balance is due within 15 days prior to the arrival. Visa and Mastercard are accepted.
The Villa Palmata is a stunning Villa dated back to the Renaissance Age recently and completely restored. The entire villa has been divided into some very elegant and exclusive apartments. Only one apartment is rented for holiday: that's the only one which has a 5*10 private swimming pool surrounded but a lovely and extremely well kept garden.
The apartment lies on the Noble floor. The noble floor is the First floor above the street level where in the past Aristocracy and Noble People used to live. The Palmata apt is about 100 sm and consists of a living room, a fully equipped kitchen/dining, three bedrooms and two bathrooms. Two of the bedrooms have a queen sized bed, the third one is a twin with two single beds.
One bathroom has a bathtub. The other one has a shower enclosure.
What is great here at the Palmata apt is the swimming pool. Exclusive, secluded, private, unusually large to belong to a simple apartment. Loungers, Pergola, Table and Chairs are provided in the garden surrounding the pool where you can dining or / and sitting al fresco... The owner and her baby loves to have sunbath and a swim sometime during the summer over the week end.. during the week they usually are out of Lucca so the pool is all for you.
Besides what is extraordinary great here at the Palmata is the location. You can WALK to the small village of Ponte A Moriano in 10 minutes (maybe less): it is only 1 km far away from the villa. This is unusually due to the caratheristics of our countryside. Maybe not all the poeple know that countryside around lucca is a HillSide rather than a flat area as the area around Florence and Siena and that it is almost impossible finding a small hamlet near the place you rent to walk to. You usually need a car to drive to Lucca which is usually is not far but it is the nearest place to go to find groceries, restaurants shop and so on... well, the villa palmata is located withni a walking distance to everything you may need or want... not only... even though you want to drice to lucca it takes you 10 minutes as it is less than 10 km far away.
also, it is a perfect location for professional and not professional cyclists and for mountain-bikers... and for those who love walking along a wonderful and panoramic countryside.
There is also a small train station at Ponte a Moriano or a bus station if you wish to get public service to get to Lucca or to go the northern side to explore and discover a beautiful mountain area: la garfagnana.
