I lived in this charming apartment for 3 weeks at the beginning of winter in Lucca. I was absolutely delighted with every aspect of the apartment. Its location couldn't be better : the historic Wall, cafés for coffee and pastries or a glass of wine, restaurants, veggie shop, supermarket, and the best pizzeria in town are all within an easy walk from your front door. The apartment is on the first floor of a very old building with thick stone walls and the original beautiful arched windows. There's a tiny balcony where you can watch the people on the street below and get a quick weather check. The heating system was very efficient (and economical) and wifi worked perfectly all the time.
The apartment has everything that you could possibly need. The bed is comfortable, there is plenty of cupboard space and the kitchen is fully equipped if you want to buy some of the gorgeous local produce and eat in (highly recommended).
Deborah was the perfect hostess. When I arrived (much later than I had anticipated) Deborah was there with a smile to hand over the key and give me all the information that I needed, and when I left she arranged a car to take me to the station.
The apartment really felt like home. I loved every minute I spent there and I'd return in a heartbeat.

Not our first trip to Lucca but our first stay in this apartment. It was our second choice as we had wanted outdoor space, but proved to be a very good choice. The apartment was very central and very comfortable. We liked the mix of the old building and the modern cleverly designed interior. The apartment contained everything we needed for a weeks stay.
The service from Debora was excellent, she arranged for our transport from the airport in the evening and allowed us to stay in the apartment beyond the leaving time as that was possible on this occasion. Her suggestion book was really good too, despite our previous visits we had never managed to visit the river outside the walls before. She didn't mention Momus cafe/bar which we did frequent fairly often as the tiny pastries/cakes were exceptional but her other recommendations were good. After another fabulous week we look forward to returning to Lucca before long and Debora will be our first port of call

We really enjoyed our stay at this lovely central apartment. It had everything we could possibly need and the 20C meets 15th?C architecture was really interesting.
Debora's help was invaluable, like others, we arrived late on Saturday & Debora organised transport for us. We have been to Lucca on several previous occasions but Debora's suggestions for visits led us outside the city walls and up to the river for the first time. Debora was especially kind to us before we left Lucca and we will return before too long.Thank you.

This apartment is superbly situated for the visitor to Lucca; it is in close proximity to the fabulaous Via Fillungo for shopping; the Piazza San Michele where you can sit admire the magnificent church whilst enjoying a delicious breakfast at Cafe Turandot; there is a wonderful pastry shop just opposite the church where you can get your morning pastries if you decided the breakfast in; 2 supermarkets plus a wonderful Enocoteca are close by. The fabulous restaurant for traditional Tuscan Home Cooking (Trattoria Leo) is but a block away - do not miss having a meal or 2 there as they chnage the menu daily!!!
The apartment itself is extremely comfortable and spacious for a studio; the windows are sublime and allow in a lot of light; having the balcony is also a bonus as you can watch the passing parade in Via Buia. The apartment is exceptionally well equipped with everything you could possibly need. Debora leaves a wonderfully informative handbook for you complete with maps etc and excellent suggestions on what to do in and around Lucca.
Debora is exceptionally professional and helpful; she organised for a driver to pick us up at the station and take us to the apartment where Debora was waiting even though our train had been delayed. We would recommend Debora's services and the apartments she offers (if Luigi Boccherini is too small for your needs) quite happily.
We wish fellow travellers a wonderful stay at the Apartment and in beautiful Lucca to which we will certainly return one day.

Fabulous apartment, centrally located just off Via Fillungo with restaurants, bistros and shops close by. The apartment is in an old building dating from the 13th/14th century. The apartment itself is elegant and roomy; it has a large sitting/dining room, huge open fire place and amazing windows covering one wall. The original open arches have been left behind the windows. The kitchen is compact but very well equipped and there is an enormous amount of storage space.
Debora at Lucca Holiday Homes is highly professional and offers a splendid service, she arranged a car to collect us from the airport and was there to meet us at the apartment even though it was after 8.00pm when we arrived. She gave us helpful advice about local place to eat and visit.
We cannot praise both the apartment and Debora highly enough. Lucca is a wonderful city and we will certainly be going back and staying at the Luigi Boccherini Apartment.
