Palazzo Parensi is a very large apartment located on the ground floor of a very ancient building, which in the past used to be a convent. It lies on the ground floor. this means no steps.. a great bonus in a historical center where you always find laods of steps everywhere!!

It is very large and consists of an entrance hall, a living room, a dining room, a kitchen, three bedrooms and three bathrooms and a laundry room. A long corridor, which divides day area from night area opens onto a nice garden provided with table and chairs and a sun umbrella for dining outside.
The garden adds another great bonus being in the heart of a medioeval centre!
There are two double bedrooms with queen sized bed and bathroom en-suite. One bathroom has a shower enclosure , the other open has a large bath-tub. The third bedroom has a queen sized bed and a single bed and a private bathroom (not en-suite) with shower. Cot and high Chair are also always available.

The location is great, very close to Piazza san Michele, in a very quiet area, just a few steps from everything .. Especially from the Puccini Opera Museum, in the same street and the Puccini Museum-his birth place, which has opened this September in Corte San Lorenzo, and also from the magnificent Palazzo Mansi.

The Bus Station is located 5 minutes walking away
The train station can be reach in a 10 minute walk and just in case you had the car the nearest parking is not so far!

Our recent holiday at Palazzo Parensi was fantastic! Its convenient location allowed us to experience local life in Italy enjoying relaxing walks to the piazza for coffee, buying the most delicious fresh pasta for dinner and exploring the architectural treasures Lucca has to offer. A short walk to the train station gave us access to exploring further afield in Florence and Cinque Terre. The highlight of our stay was a cooking class which Debora organised for us in the comfort of the apartment.
Palazzo Parensi is a very comfortable and spacious apartment which offers every convenience you could possibly need. The provision of thoughtful extras made us feel most welcome.

We are very grateful to Debora whose friendly and efficient attention to detail from when we first made inquiries about the apartment to when we arrived in Lucca, made our time here very special.

The apartment was excellent, there was nothing extra that we needed. Plenty of room for the 6 adults staying for a week. We used the outside table every day at least for breakfast (even though it was a bit of a walk from the kitchen)and enjoyed the CD collection. Debora was very helpful right from our first email and did a wonderful job of organising transport for us and assisting with parking. All the information left at the apartment was very useful. Debora's help added to a wonderful week in Lucca.

Had a fantastic stay in Lucca. The apartment was fantastic, lovely inside with everything we could possibly need and the location was ideal. Deborah and her team were very responsive to anything we asked about. We had a small problem with the car service pick up on our leaving day which never turned up but even that didn't dampen our stay and would stay here again on our next trip.

The apartment was very well maintained and well equipped. It had everything we needed. Debora was responsive to any enquiries about activities and even a physician. The garden area with outside table is located off the laundry room far from the kitchen, so it didn't get as much use as we'd had planned.
This is our second holiday with Lucca Holiday Home property, and we will definitely rent from Debora again. Thanks.

This apartment was exceptional. We were 3 couples, the apartment is very spacious, very clean, and is very well appointed. The location is also superb. We had very good service from the booking agent, (Deborah) she organised all our transfers in and out of Lucca as we parked our vehicle in the FREE public parking area for the week. Her organisation skills were perfect. We would stay here again.

Spent a week with my family in the apartment. It is very spacious & it has all the commodities you can imagine. The enclosed patio was very cozy, kitchen well equipped, rooms excellent. It is situaded in aquiet area but very near various plazas, & one of the gates. We rented a car for a day & found a parking lot just 5 minutes walk. Really you don' t need a car if stayin g in town or going to cities nearby since the train station is just 10 minute walk. The only thing was that there were no english speaking station on the TV but with Wi-fi there is really no need. Deborah, teh agent was extremely efficient & helped us with small details that you need when you are new in a place. Highly recommend it.

Debora was helpful was the moment we enquired about the apartment in Lucca. The apartment itself was fantastic and we were a party of 6 adults staying for one week. Everything worked perfectly - heating, washing machine, oven etc. We cooked a feast on Easter Sunday and a couple of other nights we ate in as well. The location of the apartment is very convenient to the centre of the old town although you wouldn't think so because it is so quiet. Unfortunately we didn't get time to enjoy the outdoor area as it rained almost every day but it didn't bother us at all. We managed to ride hire bikes three days between showers. There is one bike free with the apartment and our daughter rode that every day, just like a local. We enjoyed many restaurants nearby. We would certainly recommend this apartment to everyone and also Debora and her team.
